Elevator Retrofitting Projects

Zilai Garden is located at No. 11 Yanling Road in Shiqi District, Zhongshan — a bustling area of the old city adjacent to Yixian Lake Park. Developed by Zhongshan Zilai Garden Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. , the community comprises 21 residential buildings completed around 2000. With the proportion of elderly residents increasing year by year, the lack of elevator access in multi-story buildings has created significant mobility challenges, making elevator retrofitting an urgent need to improve living conditions.

In 2017, Yijiati — a one-stop service platform for existing building elevator retrofitting — successfully completed the elevator installation for Building 21, resolving mobility issues for upper-floor residents and earning unanimous recognition from homeowners. Throughout the project, the Yijiati team managed the full-service scope — resident coordination, design, permitting, steel structure shaft construction, elevator installation and commissioning, and final inspection. Following completion, the elevator significantly improved daily mobility, particularly for elderly residents, and received strong homeowner approval. The project’s success also served as a catalyst for other buildings in Zilai Garden — since then, Buildings 7, 12, 19, 22, and others have subsequently completed elevator installations or initiated planning approval processes.
