Elevator Retrofitting Projects

Hongjiaji Zhengjie No. 37 is a 7-story, one-elevator-per-two-units building. Resident representative Uncle Zhao had witnessed the retrofit at nearby No. 12 back in 2012 — a process that took nearly three years due to incomplete policies.

By 2018, with favorable policies in place, residents of No. 37 began action. While all households agreed, one insisted on choosing a friend’s company. Uncle Zhao visited multiple retrofit sites, compared workmanship, and concluded Yijiati offered the best quality. He contacted Yijiati Angel Aning, who arranged site visits to completed projects like Zilai Garden and Songmao Pavilion. After seeing Yijiati’s quality and reputation firsthand, the residents’ position shifted.

On May 29, 2018, No. 37 signed with Yijiati. After permitting, utility relocation took time, but on-site hoisting was just 5 hours. The elevator was delivered for trial before Spring Festival 2019, with a formal ceremony on June 6, 2019. The project received unanimous praise, and in November 2019, municipal People’s Congress representatives visited and affirmed Yijiati’s one-stop service model.
