Elevator Retrofitting Projects

Hengxin Garden Section D is located in the core of Zhongshan’s East District — a residential community without elevator access. As the proportion of elderly residents increased, elevator retrofitting became an urgent need to improve living conditions. In 2016, Yijiati undertook the elevator installation for Section D Building 5, becoming one of Yijiati’s early successful projects in Zhongshan.

The Yijiati team provided full-service, one-stop solutions covering resident coordination, design, permitting, and construction — effectively resolving mobility challenges for upper-floor residents. The success of Building 5 laid a strong foundation for subsequent buildings in the community. Section D Building 19 was later selected as a model project for community representatives to visit and learn from. To date, Section D Building 21 has completed planning approval, and Section D Building 7 has also commenced construction — with retrofit efforts continuing to progress.
