The Zhongshan Food and Drug Inspection Institute waterproofing project is a representative government procurement project for Xianghu Green Building Technology in public building waterproofing. The project addressed water accumulation on the roof of the pharmaceutical building — causing ceiling leaks in the laboratories below and corrosion of pipe supports — requiring urgent professional repair.

Xianghu developed a targeted solution: repairing the base waterproofing layer, installing drainage pipes to eliminate standing water, and adding color-coated steel roofing to enhance both waterproofing and thermal insulation. The work covered roof waterproofing system restoration, drainage system modification, and building component replacement — effectively resolving long-standing leakage issues that affected laboratory operations. The project demonstrates Xianghu’s technical expertise in public building waterproofing and government procurement service capability.
