Elevator Retrofitting Projects

Bihu East Street No. 4 is a 6-story, one-elevator-per-two-unit residential building in Shiqi District, Zhongshan. In June 2018, residents visited Yijiati’s headquarters to evaluate design quality, construction standards, and service capabilities — and signed the contract on-site.

The project’s most remarkable figure was Uncle Gao, a 75-year-old resident who took the lead. To solve mobility challenges for elderly neighbors on upper floors, he spent a year researching multiple elevator retrofit companies in Zhongshan, visiting Yijiati’s completed and ongoing projects multiple times. Only after confirming Yijiati’s superior product quality and service reputation did he formally engage the company. The building required just one residents’ meeting to secure unanimous approval, with delivery completed in under five months from contract signing. The project employed a staircase-entry solution, with Yijiati providing full-service coordination from design and permitting through construction and inspection — exceeding expectations and earning unanimous praise from homeowners.
