Elevator Retrofitting Projects

Located in the core of Yuexiu District, the Huanshi East Road No. 466 compound was built approximately 25–30 years ago. Adjacent to Guangdong University of Technology, the compound enjoys a pleasant surrounding environment and falls within the catchment areas of the provincial-level primary schools — Nonglinxia Road Primary School and Yucai Primary School — making it a popular “school district housing” area in Guangzhou’s old city.

The project was undertaken by Yijiati, providing homeowners with a full-service, one-stop solution covering resident coordination, design, permitting, construction, and installation. Following the successful elevator installation, not only were mobility challenges for upper-floor residents resolved, but property values also saw significant appreciation — with market analysis indicating an estimated increase of RMB 3,000–5,000 per square meter after installation. This project has become a classic case demonstrating how elevator retrofitting can enhance both living quality and property value in Yuexiu District’s older buildings.
